Life Among the Animals leads off with three Mal Madrigal favorites from live shows circa 2005, then delves into a more moody, textured soundscape. A fitting soundtrack to a late night highway drive. Life Among the Animals was released on vinyl along with its companion album, The Road Is Glue in 2007. Much of this recording was tracked live, analog after store hours at DRocks Music in Papillion, NE. The noises, swells, feedback and collage samples were recorded and mixed later.
